This family-friendly campsite is at an altitude of 900 metres, at the heart of Chartreuse Park. Come and enjoy the fresh air and exceptional views, on this ancient Cathusian farm. In this preserved natural environment, choose whether to opt for a fully-equipped rental accommodation or a spacious camping pitch to set up your own tent, caravan or motor-home.

Head for the heights and venture along the footpaths to the Alpine pastures, climb along the via-ferrata routes or go for a paragliding experience. Diat activities centre is just a short walk away (1.5km). Learn all about the region and its specialities at the Chartreuse wine cellars, the Grande Chartreuse Museum and the Contemporary Sacred Art Museum.

We have been coming to Camping Martinière since 1980, and it has changed considerably over the years - a basic site in a perfect location, has been transformed in a perfect site in a perfect location. The office, facilities and bar are all in sympathetically converted classic Carthusian buildings; the individual encampments have hedges and trees planted giving some privacy; and the carvings, sculptures and herb garden give the place a unique personality. The place is family-run, and the hospitality is warm and friendly.
The welcome was very nice and we got all advise we needed. Friendly personal and good facilities. Will certainly come back when in the area again.

Nous nous y arrêtons dès que nos voyages le permettent car le camping est tout simplement excellent. Le cadre, l'accueil, les équipements... Les enfants adorent aussi.
Calm, friendly, beautiful
What a lovely campsite. Great facilities, great pitches which you can choose for yourself as everone gets a ride round in a buggy on arrival. Super customer service from a really nice couple who work very hard all day long. There is a very popular restaurant on site which does simple local food. We shared a cheese and mushroom fondue which was very good with a reasonably priced pitcher of wine. Some amazing views and walks from the campsite. A lovely pool to come back too.

The family-friendly and welcoming Martinière campsite in the countryside really shows the authenticity and charm of the region. The wooden chalets were built by the owners themselves. Each camping pitch is spacious and shaded. A priority of this 3-star campsite is to show its guests the talents of local businesses during their stay. De Martinière Campsite enjoys an ideal location in the heart of the Chartreuse Regional Natural Park. We invite you to visit the Grande Chartreuse Monastery, around 5 km away, explore the alpine pastures of Charmant Som, 10 km from the campsite, or head to the Cirque de Saint-Même and its beautiful waterfalls, approximately 15 km away. After a day out, you can return to the peace and cool surroundings of the campsite.
Yes, our campsite in Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse is an excellent base for exploring the hiking trails of the Chartreuse Mountains. Several routes are accessible close to the campsite and lead through forests, alpine meadows and mountain viewpoints. Good to know: a number of marked trails start directly from the area surrounding the campsite.
Families can enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities near the campsite, including hiking, mountain biking, fishing and visits to the La Diat leisure centre, located around 1.5 km away. Children will also love the natural surroundings and open spaces, perfect for walks and outdoor adventures. Back at the campsite, everyone can enjoy the swimming pool and the relaxing atmosphere.
